Open Question: What animal should I pick?

My options are : Rabbits Mice Hamster Rats Birds. I need pros and cons on all of them. If i didn't list it, It wasn't an option. Either my vet doesn't treat it or My parents won't allow it. Mainly i would like them ranked 1 being It would ADORE me and come to the door of the cage and wait to be let out. I have mice but they aren't to entertaining, though i still love them.
